Decor for the Classic Capricorn

Did you all have a good weekend? I'll be sharing more from my weekend in the next few days. In the mean time... it's my LAST Astrology decor post. I've made it through the whole year, can you believe it? I will be creating a post soon with all of my past Astrology Decor posts, so you can check out all of them collectively on one page.

It's nearing the end of December, and that means the start of the Capricorn sign! If you were born between December 22nd and January 19th, you fall under this sign of the zodiac, which is symbolized by the Goat. According to Astrology.com, Capricorns are known for their hard work and determination. They are all about a challenge, success, and achieving their goals.

When it comes to their Style, Capricorns are classic and down to earth. They are all about functionality and classic pieces in their home. Their homes are decorated with earth tones and lots of neutrals and foresty greens, and they collect solid wood pieces and heirloom furniture that can be passed down for years. With a mix of both classic and contemporary elements, this bedroom is nice and earthy and the most perfectly decorated space. I would love to have this bedroom!

The Fiery Archer: Sagittarius Inspired Decor

Time for another installment of Astrological Inspired Decor. This might be my favorite post of the month, just because I get to gather up a bunch of decor picks from all over the web...and they're themed. My design nerd idea of fun.

This month is Sagittarius - Nov. 22 through Dec. 21, which according to Astrology.com, is symbolized by the archer. The Sagittarius archer is also a centaur, or half man, half beast. Its element is Fire, and its ruling planet is Jupiter. Sagittarians are confident, social, and playful. They have an adventurous spirit and an eclectic sense of style.

According to Style at Home, they prefer decorating in colors like purple and royal blue. When I picture a Sagittarius home, I think rich, jewel tones and worldly, exotic elements. And for some reason, I had purple pillows and ottomans in my head when creating this post. But anyway...here's what I gathered up for some Sagittarius Inspired Decor (sources at the bottom):

Scorpio Inspired Decor

Only a few more signs left in my Astrological decor series! Is it really November already? So crazy.  But let's get to the main event: Scorpio inspired decor! According to Astrology.com, Scorpio (October 23 - November 21) is symbolized by the Scorpion, and those born under the sign are often secretive and mysterious. They're also fearless and determined.

Scorpios have an artistic, mysterious, and dramatic flair when it comes to their decor style. Their favorite decorating colors are red, orange, burgundy, and black. Style at Home says that they have a theatrical decorating style, and rich fabrics like velvet, leather and silk are also not far from their homes!

Libra: Astrology Inspired Decor

Time for another Astrology decor post! This time it's Libra, and if your birthday falls between September 23 and October 22, then that means you. Libra, the seventh sign of the Zodiac, is an air sign ruled by the planet Venus, and its symbol is the Scales. Libra is the only sign which is not symbolized by a living, breathing creature - which is ironic, because Libras are sociable beings! The don't like to be alone and are better with a partner. They're companionable, a smidge artistic, and don't forget stylish.

Being the Scales of the Zodiac, they are fair and seek balance, peace, and harmony. But they are also on the indecisive side (which may mean they have trouble choosing that perfect paint color for the living room). Nonetheless, they definitely know how to communicate, being air signs and all, and when it comes to their home, they prefer a well-balanced, traditional style. They like airy and open spaces, their decor arranged symmetrically, and blue is their decorating color of choice. (sources: Style at Home and Astrology.com)
