Since it's Spring (the blooming season), I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite flowers. And no, unlike Meg Ryan's character in You've Got Mail, daisies are not one of them. I love that quote from the movie though. All I could find was a sound clip of it:
They are pretty friendly, and I don't mind them. But today I'm sharing four of my hands-down favorites. And they are: 1) Peonies, 2) Hydrangeas, 3) Ranunculas, and 4) English Roses. Last year we planted both Peonies and Hydrangeas in our yard. But they were young flowers and I don't think they did very well. I'm starting to think we might be Black Thumbs....
Here's hoping we do better this year!
